 icro-welding
is a specialized precision process that allows
the operator to perform welding on thin or delicate
materials by depositing welded metal in very
small amounts, using minimal consistent heat
energy that is carefully and precisely controlled.
This
process is used for miniature devices and applications
where components must be intricately welded
without interefering with product fuction and
quality.
Plasma
cutting uses a plasma torch to cut
steel or other metals. An inert gas or compressed
air is blown from a nozzle at high speed; an
electrical arc is formed through the gas from
the nozzle to the surface being cut, turning
some of the gas to plasma. This plasma is hot
enough to melt the metal and it moves fast enough
to blow the molten metal away from the cut.
Plasma cutting is highly effective for cutting
curves and angles in sheet metal.
